Full-scene Adaptive AC-DC Constant Current and Constant Power Intelligent Charging System Released, Leading the New Energy Charging Technology Innovation

2025-07-14

In July 2022, domestic new energy charging technology ushered in a breakthrough - the full-scene Adaptive AC-DC Constant Current and Constant Power Intelligent Charging System, developed by Bangzhao Electric, was officially released. With ‘high efficiency, intelligence and safety’ as the core, the system realises for the first time that a single device covers a wide voltage range from 50V to 1000V, and supports the seamless adaptation of multiple scenarios such as electric vehicles, Energy Storage Systems, industrial equipment, etc., marking our country's entry into the global leading ranks in the field of new energy charging.

Technical Breakthrough: Three Core Advantages Reshape Charging Experience
Ultra-wide Voltage Range and Full Power Coverage
The system supports single-phase 90-280VAC and three-phase 260-530VAC inputs, with an output voltage range of 50-1000VDC, and can be adapted to lead-acid batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries, fuel cells and other full types of energy storage units. Its power density is increased by 40% compared with traditional solutions, and in 65kW charging pile applications, the volume is reduced to 0.12m³, which is only 60% of the industry average.

Constant Current and Constant Power Dual Mode Intelligent Regulation
system can monitor the battery status in real time and automatically switch between constant current (CC) and constant power (CP) modes. For example, in the EV charging scenario, the system fast-charges the battery with constant current at a 5C multiplier when the SOC is lower than 30%, and switches to constant power mode after the SOC reaches 80%, increasing the charging efficiency to 95% and saving 12% energy compared with the traditional solution.
Full digital control and multiple protection mechanisms
system integrates dual DSP digital signal processors to achieve full digital closed-loop control of the charging module. Through the built-in over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP), over-temperature protection (OTP) and battery anti-reverse-flooding technology, the system can block abnormal currents in real time, ensuring zero risk in the charging process. In the application of energy storage system, the system supports non-destructive hot-swapping and automatic isolation in case of module failure, which guarantees the stable operation of the overall system.
Application Scenarios: Full Link Coverage from Electric Vehicle to Energy Storage System
Electric Vehicle Charging Field: The system supports the charging needs of all categories of electric vehicles, such as passenger cars, logistics vehicles and heavy trucks. Take a logistics park as an example, after deploying the system, the utilisation rate of charging piles has increased by 35%, and the average daily number of vehicles served by a single pile has increased from 12 to 16.
New energy storage system: For photovoltaic, wind power and other intermittent energy sources, the system can realise the intelligent scheduling of ‘valley power storage, peak power release’. In a photovoltaic energy storage power station in Qinghai, the system increases the energy storage efficiency from 82% to 88%, reducing the amount of abandoned light by more than 2 million degrees per year.
Industrial equipment and Emergency Power Supply: in data centres, 5G base stations and other scenarios, the system supports three-phase no-median input, simplifying wiring costs; in earthquakes, floods and other disasters, it can be quickly switched to emergency power mode, providing 72 hours of uninterrupted power supply for medical equipment and communication equipment.
Market reaction: industry leaders accelerate the layout, ecological cooperation is fully launched

Since the pilot mass production in June 2025, it has been exported to the European and Southeast Asian markets. According to industry analysts, the global AC-DC charging system market will exceed $30 billion in 2025, of which the proportion of constant current and constant power technology is expected to jump from 15% to 40%.

‘The release of this system marks the shift of China's charging technology from “following” to “leading”.’ ‘Its ultra-wide voltage adaptation capability and full-scene intelligence provide key infrastructure for the synergistic development of “vehicle-pile-network” in the new energy industry.’
